The food court was almost deserted this morning. Employees were preparing their fine food establishments for the day and an older gentleman was emptying the trash cans throughout the area as I continued to ignore the goings on around me. I preferred the solitude, the invisibility. Coffee shops were littered with overpriced beverages and human clutter; hipsters, millennials, baby boomers, whatevers and i-dont-know-whats, the whole thing just sends a shiver throughout my body. No. Give me harsh lighting from poorly designed skylights, random sticky spots on tables which I can only hope was soda, and uncomfortable chairs that leave marks on your legs for two hours, clearly visible when you're wearing shorts in the summertime.
I was relishing the move from level 56 to 57 when my device became a phone again. Private. Blocked. Normally, being interrupted from my playtime would frustrate me, but I was expecting a call right about now.
"Hello."
"Everything is taken care of," a voice said softly.
"Everything?" I said inquisitively.
My question was greeted with only silence.
I pulled the phone away from my ear and the game was back on my screen, begging to be touched...
Enough drama then. I'm taking a bigger step this year and, just maybe, biting off more than I can chew, but here goes.

The one that started it all. I'll have to get back in the rhythm again and I'm going to have to give myself assignments to stay sharp. I'll be doing more writing now since I have 4 blogs going, so that might help. Not going to lie. This is going to be right up there with the first one, and really fun. I got into golf by accident, really. I love the game and like most golfers, I wish I was better at it. Honestly, could I have come up with a worse name here? I got into coaching by accident as well, then got out because I couldn't devote the time to it due to work limitations. This blog was born out of frustration with watching the coaching, or lack thereof, that was going on as I watched my children play. I mellowed out with my daughter's last softball coaches because they were very good and the blog slipped away. I plan on bringing this aspect back in, but I'll also do some general sport editorializing on here as well.

OK. I stand corrected. This is the worst name ever. Everybody needs a place to rant, and this is mine. There's no telling what you'll find here...or quite frankly, when you'll find it. But it'll be here, in the the irregular way you'd expect an old man would be.
Social Media
These will be the all-encompassing tools that will bring everything under the umbrella of the Incomplete Writer. While IW will be the primary focus, there will be representations for each of the blogs.
Here I'm just the Incomplete Writer. This was the first outlet I used to get some branding going. I'll be using this to spread the words and let you know there's a new post. I may use it to go back to some old posts as well.
How appropriate that the Incomplete Writer has an incomplete name, stopping at the W. This part is a work in progress and will continually develop. I am especially fond of the image I am using as my profile picture. There are already writing boards, quotes, references, and style boards (A writer's got to have style.) The Uncle Dennis Rule will certainly have its own board, but that will be determined by how deep I get, so I might have to have multiple boards for that as well. The sports and rant blogs may have some boards as well, but I assure you, this will be entirely disorganized and random.

If I've learned anything from the Kardashians, it's that anyone can become famous if they have a Twitter account. so...TA-DA! I already follow a few writers here and I'll tweet as well. Another way to spread the doctrine of incompleteness, again, with an incomplete name (no final E). I could have some Jack Handey or Mitch Hedberg moments here...which would be awesome!
I am already on Google since that's where all of these blogs began and I hope to get my own website that will hopefully make the name at least a bit more simple.
I don't imagine I won't do an Instagram account unless I start doing some travel related to writing. I did have a clickable link on my most recent sports blog post which did pertain to the story I told there, but I think that will be more the exception than the rule.
